What We Offer:

Nick Skelton Gold medal winner of the 2016 Olympics decided he needed to get some of his championship rugs ‘out of the closet’ as after the win and the victory parade they are often tucked away in a cupboard. We came up with the idea of making a child’s chair using a championship rug from the prestigious Horse of the Year Show. Nicks granddaughter  Flora was delighted. Since we have been advertising the fact that we have been making cushions to fit ERCOL furniture we have had tremendous response from all over the world. We make our own and we guarantee they fit properly with all appropriate studs, tapes, fire retardant labels etc. We all love the opportunities our upholstery practice brings and sharing our skills, sharing a new trend to the world of creative upholstery.

Such a professional business, I have had 2 settees, two armchairs and four goldsmith dining chairs, 2 carvers and a rocking chair fitted with new cushions over the years. All a perfect fit and wash in the washing machine on a 30° setting and dry as new. My one small problem was a chair pad strap starting to pull away after a years wear and it was replaced and repaired with no charge.
We have used Stage One several times now, first for some Ercol replacement cushions and just recently for new covers for our Conservatory furniture. The quality is amazing, far superior to the original covers on the sofa. Bryan was really helpful and sent me links to a huge range of fabrics to choose from.
Just received six seatpads for our ercol dining chairs, very pleased with them, in both appearance and fit. Bryan was a delight to deal with, explained everything clearly and helped with obtaining good sized samples from his suppliers. Would certainly return if we ever need upholstery work in the future.

Excellent service all-round. I needed two sofa units reworking as the filling had “given up”. Rather than buying a new suite, I contacted CTC and they have put new filling into all the seats making them feel like new, while still carrying the scars of family life (and cat scratches). Really pleased with the service and would highly recommend.
The chaps at CTC did a great job of refoaming the 5 seating cushions of our 10yr old corner sofa. Feels like a new sofa at a fraction of the cost.
Just had 6 dining chairs reupholstered from cracked leather to material. Absolutely over the moon with the finished chairs. Looks like a whole new set with the table can’t thank Paul enough. Professional & quick service, what a lovely guy will certainly recommend to anyone! Thank you.
