Founded in 1887, Coventry Golf Club has become one of the finest examples of mature parkland golf.  Set in 120 acres of leafy Warwickshire, this aesthetically attractive, gently undulating layout is a pleasure to play all year round. A traditional club with a modern outlook, Coventry Golf Club has been host to many prestigious Professional and Amateur Tournaments.  With a Par of 73 it is a fair but challenging test for golfers of all abilities. Friendly service and catered well for dietary variations. Most definitely will return. The views are lovely too.
Thank you to the Coventry golf club for making such a fantastic venue fore a celebration of my husband life. The food & the care taken in arranging the menu fore my guests was out standing thank you all fore making such a special effort knowing that it was a difficult time.
A great day was had by all at our Captain’sAway Day. The staff were excellent all day. We were greeted at the outset before our bacon rolls, well looked after at lunch and thanked at the end of the day. Nothing was too much for them. The course was in superb condition abd the greens were consistent. A fabulous day out. We will be back.

Had a lovely morning round at this beautiful course. It has a full, challenging 18 holes with the option to play the front or back 9 from the club house if you only want to play 9 holes. Positioned lovely as a course and the description hits the nail on the head. Some of the best greens I’ve played. Travelled 2 hours to get there and was not disappointed. Also the staff were helpful and very polite. Would definitely visit again.
Absolutely fantastic little course. Definitely well worth a visit. Will highly recommend it. Helpful and friendly staff.. Good food and beer just what you need after 18 holes.
The staff yet again where friendly and welcoming and I am really starting to enjoy playing there.

What We Offer:
Located in Meriden between Coventry and Solihull in Central England, our golf course is set in fine parkland within the grounds of the historic Packington Estate. Our 27 hole Championship-style course is based across three loops of nine holes providing an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all ages and experience. The club has always been known as a friendly place, where people can play challenging golf, meet new friends and join in with the wide range of social activities. We pride ourselves in making access to golf easier with an extensive practice facility, a swing-studio with the latest radar tracking tech, and our professional, Sam Beckett, who offers individual and group lessons for people playing at any standard.We have four active sections (Men, Ladies, Seniors and Juniors) each offering the chance for friendly or competition golf. We have ambitions to grow our Junior Section and have recently been awarded SafeGolf Accreditation.

The only downfall was getting plagued by F1’s and a small mirror that had a mangled mouth( ot and never will be guilty of damaging fish.
4 stars are for the staff & facilities, 1 for the course because I was very surprised we had to tee off mats, for a well prestigious course I thought it would be a lot better. Blythe course was a total let down by Sommers was a lot better. I recall years ago it the course was a lot better. Staff & facilities were great.
Lovely welcome for our golf society outing. We played the Somers-Hampton 18 holes combination which was varied and interesting. The course was in good shape considering the hot dry summer.
