What We Offer:
Michelle Aherns school of Dance was established in 2009 and is based in Coventry. We are proud to teach a range of Modern, Tap, Ballet, Acrobatics, Singing and Tumbling classes. We pride ourselves on delivering desired results, offering fun classes whilst learning new skills in a friendly environment. Our dancers are given the opportunity to perform in annual Shows , competitions and public events. Exam sessions are also held throughout the year and taken with The United Teachers of Dance LTD. Over the last couple of years our dancers have also performed in front of large audiences at Birmingham Hippodrome , Bedworth Civic Hall and Drayton Manor to name a few. As training progresses through the different age groups, those who show promise will be offered the chance to deepen their understanding and further their training with our ‘Pre-Vocational’ program ranging from Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced Level.SPECIALITY:

Michelle and her teachers are fantastic. They treat all the children as if they are their own. From the little ones to the older pupils everyone is an equal. They nurture the pupils & give them the confidence to perform in front of others.
My little Girl goes there every Saturday at 9am till 12.30pm and she loves it there she as been Dancing there for 3 years and she as won 5 Trophy for her Dancing and 30 Gold Medals and 25 Silver and 3 Bronze Medals. And her Teacher Michelle is so Fantastic as well as the 2 other fantastic Dancing Teachers. And they are going to Drayton Manor Park on June 17 to do a Dance Show. It is like a very close Family with all the Dancers.
amazing! teachers are fab! I’m so glad I put my daughter in michelles dance school. all of the teachers are very caring, patient and supportive of their dancers. my daughter has made so much progress and has gained so much confidence. she absolutely loves going to her saturday class!
Diamond Dance

What We Offer:
Diamond Dance was established by Sian Pargetor in 2010 and started with a few basic lessons on a Saturday, to include a baby class, Tap, Ballet and Modern examination work. It wasn’t long before the timetable grew and additional classes were added. It began with the addition of an Acrobatics class, quickly followed by Street dance, private lessons and Festival class and in more recent years the addition of Contemporary and Musical Theatre. The first ever Diamond Dance show was held at the Community Centre back in 2011 with a small showcase. In 2013 Dance Infinity was established and is now a bi-annual show put on by all the pupils at the school. With the schools growth in 2013 and 2015 the shows were performed at Blue Coat Theatre and new from 2017 Dance Infinity moved to the Albany Theatre. We do our best to build a sense of community within our dance school by offering lots of opportunities for our students to perform at community events.SPECIALITY:

My girls have danced with Diamond Dance from the day the doors opened. Even now after 6 years they still love it there and enjoy every lesson. They have made life long friends, as have I as a parent. It really is a great dance school where every child sparkles.

What We Offer:
The principal of the school Denise Moore gained her teaching qualifications with British Theatre Dance Association and qualified as a BTDA examiner in 2016. Denise is also an experienced adjudicator. Denise loves all genres of dance, but her passion is teaching tap. Our teaching team include Kelly, who has been part of the school for over 20 years, and loves to teach lyrical, modern, and contemporary. Julie, who has a passion for teaching ballet, and contemporary is a qualified teacher and examiner with BTDA. Our Assistant teachers are Raneka and Rhaya, who have been with the school from the tender age of 3 and are now a valued part of our team. The school prides itself in producing a high standard of work in a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. Students are encouraged to develop at their own pace which helps to make them feel at ease and confident, learning a new skill whilst having lots of fun, and making lots of new friends.SPECIALITY:

A lovely family friendly dance school which is very well run. My child was new to dance for her age range but was welcomed with open arms and has progressed very quickly. The teachers genuinely care for the children and communication is always honest and open. My child loves going to classes which are fun as well as educational and has built some long term friendships because of it. I would definitely recommend Timms to everyone.
Having previously been a student at Timms School of dance, I chose for my two daughters to attend. It’s like a little family where everyone is made to feel welcome. Whilst the teachers are professional, they are also friendly and have lots of fun with the pupils. Both studios are clean and are of a high standard. Both my children have gained immense confidence and social skills, such as good listening, taking instruction, along with their dance technique. After my eldest attending for nearly 10 years and my other daughter for 7 years, they love being part of the Timms family.
My daughter has been dancing at Timms for 9 years and she still loves it as much now as she did when she started. The teaching is of a very high standard, Denise and the team are all brilliant. My daughter has made many friends and gets to take part in shows and festivals, as well as doing exams. If you are looking for a friendly dance school for your child I highly recommend Timms.
