Caludon Castle ruins
Farren Rd, Coventry CV2 5EJ, United Kingdom
What We Offer:
Caludon Castle Park is FREE to enter. It is located three miles to the east of Coventry city centre and it is the Area Park for the South of the city. Although smaller in size than other area parks, it offers a valued green space experience for local people. The site contains two scheduled ancient monuments by English Heritage, including the remains of Caludon Castle which is Grade 1 listed. The park is accessed by vehicles off Farren Road via the St George and the Dragon inspired entrance gates, along a causeway to the recently re-furbished public car park. The park is informally divided into zones including sport and play to the east and the historical features to the west and north. The Park is annually entered for a Green Flag Award. This is a nationally recognised award given to parks that, when externally assessed, meet or exceed some eight criteria set by the Awards Body. These criteria include how the park is managed, community involvement and sustainability.SPECIALITY:

That’s a historic landmark with a record since Lady Godiva times, so many families owned the Castle in his history. It’s a quite important place in historic England, easy to get there, gate are open all day and night. That could be an attraction for spending romantic time in Coventry.
The Weaver's House
121 Upper Spon St, Coventry CV1 3BQ, United Kingdom
What We Offer:
The Weaver’s House provides a snapshot of life in medieval Coventry, where you can experience how John Croke, a narrow-loom weaver and his family would have lived and worked. The house has been restored to show how it looked in 1540, including a full size replica of a narrow-loom (please note access is via ladder). To the rear there is a garden showing plants that would have been grown for food, flavouring, medicine and household use. Coventry Cathedral Ruins
Priory St, Coventry CV1 5RN, United Kingdom
What We Offer:
The full team at Coventry Cathedral is made up of an exciting mix of clergy and clerical staff, maintenance staff and volunteers, a few of whom feature here. We share a commitment to the Cathedral, its community and purpose. Our vision is of a reconciled and reconciling Cathedral which is open and welcoming to all, which serves to glorify God in our worship, and reaches out to the world in our ministry of reconciliation. Our vision is also for a sufficiently robust resource base that we are able to be creative in our activity, confident that we have sufficient financial and human resources to deliver our vision without compromise. Our heritage and our future are rooted in the words of Jesus Christ, ‘Father forgive’, used by Provost Dick Howard on 15th November 1940 in the Cathedral ruins. Our calling is to be a people and place of reconciliation, one that marks us out in English cathedrals as having a unique role. It is this calling, embodied as it is in the architecture of the Cathedral, ruined and rebuilt, which provides the core rationale for our life and mission..SPECIALITY:
