We like to think that a modern day our business has grown to mean someone who is friendly, loud and outgoing, who thrives on community life whilst socialising in a relaxed environment. Being a small and traditional pub, we generally operate on an easy first come, first served basis. However, we do like to accommodate reservations for special occasions, groups of 6 and above, or other specific circumstances. We come in every Christmas Eve after shopping. Popped in a few years ago and Amy made us feel that welcome that we’ve made it a tradition. Popped in today for a sandwich and a quick drink, just to say hi. Great food great staff and Amy is a star.
Out for a late lunch with my dad and my niece, we struggled to find somewhere nice that wasn’t too busy and had something we’d all like. Dad suggested Town Crier. It was quite busy but there were a couple of tables available.
Great pub in the city center. When people think “a nice clean classic pub” they’re picturing a place exactly like the Town Crier.

Neat pub off the main road. Had live karaoke going which I’ve yet to find anywhere else in the UK, so that was entertaining to say the least. Nice selection of beers, only 2 bartenders but they did a good job tending to the masses. Plenty of seating to host larger groups which was nice, wasn’t as crammed in as other pubs around. Never tried the planet ale before it was crisp and refreshing.
A nice pub with a pool table, TVs and a decent menu with reasonably priced food. But I must say the portion of chips served with the burgers are very small. And they seemed to have forgotten the spring onion on the chicken wings. But even though they were very tasty and at a good price too.
Managed to park at the front. Reserved a table at 7pm menu very reasonable with plenty of choices including vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Lovely evening and great atmosphere. Really nice staff and great selection of drinks. I’ve had food here previously too and it was very good.
Great staff and good atmosphere. They have a couple of ales (brewdog and another) range of other drinks too. Good for a visit nice garden area, most certainly one of the better places in coventry city. Few more ales would be nice but its good for the area
Great to see this place open again. Great revamp to the garden. Very welcoming new owners. Smashing first post lockdown experience. Highly recommended.
